Installation Requirements

Surface Preparation

Before applying the membrane to any surface, the area must be thoroughly cleaned using any form of degreaser ie: Metho or Windex. Do not use any oil based solvents as the sign will not adhere.

Make sure any cleaner has evaporated from the surface before laying the sign as fumes may affect the adhesive tape.

Installation

1. Apply a strip of masking tape to top edge of membrane and position on pre-cut panel or prepared wall. Run thumbnail along top edge to create hinge.

2. Flip membrane vertically and peel backing paper off the adhesive.

3. Holding the bottom edge of the membrane away from the surface, slowly begin working your way down from left to right applying firm pressure with cloth. Slightly overlap each stroke, making sure no air gets between the membrane and the surface.
Once tape has had contact with the surface, the sign will be adhered.

Trimming

Membrane can be trimmed by guillotine or scissors. Can also be cut with a sharp knife by scoring several times.
